Prehistoric TimesEdit

January 8th, 1610- 4 of Jupiter's moons, Io, Europa, Ganymede, and Callisto are discovered by Galileo Galilei
January 6th, 1613- Galileo sighted Neptune but recorded it as a faint star
1655- Titan, Saturn's largest moon, is discovered by Christian Huygens
1671- Iaepetus, one of Saturn's moons, is discovered by G.D. Cassini
1672- Rhea, another one of Saturn's moons, is discovered by G.D. Cassini
1684- Tethys is discovered orbting Saturn by G.D. Cassini
